Academics

Learning for Life

Developing independent thinkers and life-long learners

The academic programme is the core function of Martin House College and the team of teaching staff is committed to delivering the Cambridge Curriculum preparing our learners for IGCSE examinations at the end of Grade 11 and beyond.

Martin House College is committed to keeping you well-informed about your child’s academic progress.

A termly report will be e-mailed to you and communication channels are open to discuss successes and areas in need of assistance.

The key to academic success is committed teachers and hard-working learners, both of which are characteristics of Martin House.

Martin House College believes in continuous assessment and pupils are regularly assessed by means of projects, class activities, class tests, as well as control tests and termly examinations.

At Martin House College we believe that to live is to learn.

“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically.
Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.” – Martin Luther King Jr.
