For the Love of the Game

Martin House College offers a wide range of traditional as well as adventure sporting opportunities for all learners. Our learners are taught to compete with purpose, striving for excellence and always within the school’s value system of fair play and sportsmanship.

A full range of sports activities is offered at Martin House; swimming, water polo, athletics, hockey, rugby, cricket, netball and tennis.

Martin House offers, apart from the traditional range of traditional school sports, a brilliant opportunity for Learning, Leadership, Accountability, Responsibility, Team Building, Effective Communication, Developing Self Confidence through our Adventure Sport programme…oh and yes outdoor skills!

Learners are encouraged to participate in as wide a variety of sports as possible and to develop a love for competing, doing one’s best, winning or losing well and everything that goes with team participation.

Working together, achieving a common goal, camaraderie, working through differences and celebrating each other’s highs and lows. These are important skills for our students to develop.
