Music and Drama
Whether it is learning to play a musical instrument, playing in ensembles, singing in choirs, performing in plays or discovering beauty in fine art, there is plenty of opportunity for creative expression at Martin House College.
Indeed, our philosophy behind the arts is to provide opportunities for all to appreciate, many to participate in and the very best to excel.

Dramatic and Visual Arts are an important means of stimulating creativity in problem solving. It can challenge learners’; perceptions about their world and about themselves. Dramatic exploration can provide students with an outlet for emotions, thoughts, and dreams that they might not otherwise have means to express.
This can happen in a safe atmosphere, where actions and consequences can be examined, discussed, and in a very real sense experienced without the dangers and pitfalls that such experimentation would obviously lead to in the outside world.
Outreach
Outreach Programmes to not only assist those in our community less fortunate than ourselves but develops empathy and appreciation within our learners.
Therefore our various gradesbecome involved in various outreach programmes throughout the year.
Martin House strives for an excellent balance between academics, sport and cultural activities, which are critical components in “Learning for Life.“
